Telemedicine Medical Director
Christopher V. Fanale, M.D. is currently the Medical Director of Blue Sky Neurology, the CNI-Swedish Medical Center Stroke Program, the Colorado State CO-DOC Telemedicine Grant, and the Swedish Medical Center Telemedicine Program. Dr. Fanale is a board-certified neurologist specializing in stroke and cerebrovascular disease.
He graduated from the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA, in May 2000 and subsequently completed residency training in Preliminary Medicine and Neurology at Hahnemann. He completed a fellowship in Stroke/Cerebrovascular Disease at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. There, he had experience with a telemedicine network that connects five rural hospitals in California with stroke neurologists at the UCSD Stroke Center, which improved stroke diagnosis, treatment and outcome.
Dr. Fanale joined Blue Sky Neurology at its inception in 2005. During this time, he gained significant experience with telemedicine applications and became comfortable with the idea of expanding these services drastically.
