Back to Back: Research Medical Center Named Top Stroke Hospital in Missouri for Second Consecutive Year
November 01, 2024
For the second year in a row, Research Medical Center (Kansas City, MO) has been ranked No. 1 in Missouri for Stroke Care by Healthgrades, putting the facility in the “upper echelon of hospitals for specialty care nationwide.”
The stroke program at Research, a 590-bed hospital, is managed by Blue Sky Neurology clinicians — Stroke Medical Director Anthony Harrington, MD; Dan Kaplan, DO; Ala Saleh, MD; Neena Viswanathan, MD; Isabella Baldacci, PA; and Miranda Wahn, FNP.
“These are impressive achievements,” HCA Midwest Health President Keith Zimmerman wrote in an email of Research’s and other area facilities’ Healthgrades honors. “...This is a reflection of our organization’s commitment — and the commitment of our physicians, nurses, clinical staff, and caregivers — to consistently deliver the best, safest care possible.”
Blue Sky has been managing Research’s stroke program since 2021. In all, the practice manages the inpatient neurology needs of 23 hospitals in seven states.
We’re extremely proud of and thankful for all our clinicians at Research and the life-changing work they do each and every day.
