Blue Sky Telehealth neurologist and Neurocritical Care physician Kourosh Kahkeshani, DO, has been named Regional Stroke Medical Director for the practice’s extensive telemedicine networks in the state of Texas.

In his new role, Dr. Kahkeshani will provide clinical and operational guidance to the stroke teams at Blue Sky’s client health systems, collaborating closely with local leadership. Additionally, he, along with Blue Sky’s stroke coordinators, will participate in key stakeholder meetings at these health systems and provide clinical expertise on Telestroke process improvement initiatives.

He joined Blue Sky in 2019, becoming a member of the practice’s Neurocritical Care division at Swedish Medical Center (Englewood, CO). Today, Dr. Kahkeshani works as an inpatient Neurocritical Care physician at Swedish, Lutheran Medical Center (Wheat Ridge, CO), and The Medical Center of Aurora (Aurora, CO).

Dr. Kahkeshani’s professional interests include high-acuity neurology, providing care in underserved areas, and teaching trainees in the intensive care unit and hospital wards.

We’re extremely proud of and thankful for all our Blue Sky Telehealth clinicians and the life-changing work they do each and every day.
